Hi friends!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself behind Aurora Joan’s Hen Haven & Sourdough. My name is Amy. I’m a full-time working mom with a love for baking, backyard chickens, and creating homemade food, and this little business was inspired by my daughter, Aurora Joan — the face and heart behind our brand. What started as a love for backyard chickens, fresh eggs, and homemade sourdough quickly turned into something I truly love sharing with others. 🩷

Every loaf is handcrafted in my home kitchen with care, and our hens are spoiled, happy girls who inspire so much of what we do here. From sourdough loaves to homemade cookies and farm fresh eggs, everything is made with love. Aurora has always been right by my side through all of it — helping with the chickens, tasting all the cookies, and inspiring this little dream every step of the way — which is what makes this business so special to me personally. I also couldn’t do any of this without the love and support of my husband, who is always encouraging my ideas, helping behind the scenes (taking the perfect bread pictures) and supporting this little dream alongside me every step of the way.

Thank you so much for supporting our small backyard farm and following along on this journey. I’m excited to continue sharing new bakes, behind-the-scenes moments, and all the chaos in between! ✨
