We are amazed at the quality of this year's fruit! Nikki picked these this morning. Tomorrow's upick scheduled Saturday, July 26th 7am until 12 noon should be outstanding!
After a good look this morning we shouldn't have to place any limits on quantities. Both boxes and bags will be available to pick into. We do however think this will be our final upick.

WooHoo!!!
WE ARE GOING TO GET A FINAL DAY OF PICKING FOR EVERYONE!
We have excellent Redglobe peaches and even Coralstars left.
Quantities may be limited so it will be first come first served. * We will be selling boxes and bags initially and only limit quantities if turn out is high.
Come join us Saturday, July 26th starting at 7am. We plan on closing at noon or when they are all gone. Don't miss your last chance for Valhalla peaches this season.

GREAT JOB FOLKS!!!
Most Everyone who came out for Friday and Saturday upicks did an awesome job picking ripe Redglobe peaches and leaving behind the unripe fruit on most trees.
That actually gives those left behind a chance to "size up" (get bigger) and ripen.

Nikki and I will be checking them every day this next week and if we have sufficient fruit of good quality there MAY be a CHANCE of a LIMITED pick next Saturday July 26th (1 peck and 1/2 peck bags-no boxes).
IT IS NOT A CERTAINTY THOUGH, AS FRUIT QUALITY AND QUANTITY WILL ULTIMATELY DICTATE IF WE DO.
I think we will make that call by Thursday next week.

"Ranger" is already missing everyone who came out to pick.
He is actually our neighbor's dog. We are going to make him our Official Valhalla Orchards Ambassador with a vest and all.

Please spread the word!!! Due to picking pressure we will open for a FINAL DAY OF U-PICK. WE WILL BE OPEN SATURDAY JULY 19th 7am to 10am (*or until sold out)
FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. AFTER THE 1ST 25 BOXES ARE SOLD THERE WILL BE A LIMIT OF 1 PECK AND 1/2 PECK BAGS. ONCE THEY ARE GONE WE ARE MOST LIKELY DONE FOR THE SEASON!!!

A tiny desert box turtle was enjoying the irrigation and the dropped peaches at Valhalla this afternoon. It's always a joy to see them. We think of them as our "little charms" along with the horned lizards. :)
