WESTERN PLEASURE / BREEDING MPH Cartierra “Gemma” is an incredible filly with tremendous substance, beauty, size, and willing temperament. She has loads of chrome, a long and shapely neck, beautiful movement, and lovely tail carriage, which will make her a standout at the National level in Western Pleasure. Her conformation is outstanding, including super legs and feet, low-set hocks, and powerful hips and shoulders.
Gemma is sired by U.S. National Champion Breeding Stallion Conquest BR, who is by Versace and out of Lee Anna Psy, a wonderful outcross for Gemma’s dam Alice Blue Gown V. Conquest BR is siring many top Western Pleasure champions at the most competitive National and Regional levels, including Invictus A, Honesto BHA, MPH Concerto, Sweet Southrn Belle, Mair Ci, I Still Believe CB, Kharen Marie, and We Danced.
Her dam Alice Blue Gown V is a quintessentially Varian mare by Maclintock V and out of the Brass and Afire Bey V-bred daughter Ames Perfection. The influence of Maclintock V and his sire Desperado V is readily apparent in Gemma, with her striking beauty, athletic ability, and trainability. Gemma’s dam Alice is a full sister to Abilene Mac V +//, who is a multi-National and Region champion in the Arabian Western Trail and Ranch Riding divisions.
She qualifies for the V Brand on her left hip with her dam being Alice Blue Gown V.
