It’s fresh! We harvest the day before and pack your box the same day it’s shipped. Vegetables are hot when they come out of the fields so we pre-cool them using one of four pre-cooling methods, giving your Fresh Harvest
longer shelf life in your home. Your box will be packed inside one of our coolers, keeping your produce refrigerated. Each box has a good variety of fruits and vegetables that have excellent flavor and taste due to their freshness and quality. All of our produce is grown sustainably using strict food safety standards,
and much of it is grown organically or pesticide free.

Overall, May brought mild temperatures, with a little surprise at the very end of the month—rain🌧️ With discussions of El Niño continuing into the summer months, it’s hard to predict exactly what the season will bring. Fortunately, we’re kicking off June with plenty of sunshine and a lineup of delicious fruits that are sure to satisfy any sweet craving.

🍇Great Grapes: We kicked off grape season with Ruby Rush grapes, a seedless variety known for their crisp texture and sweet flavor. Grapes are a perfect summertime snack and make a great addition to charcuterie boards. They’re also featured in Michelle’s Chicken Salad recipe, making them a versatile staple to keep on hand all season long.

❤️Notable Nectarines: Nectarines are a summertime favorite thanks to their perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Keep in mind that a red-hued nectarine isn’t necessarily ripe. To encourage ripening, store nectarines in a loosely closed paper bag for a day or two. Once the fruit begins to yield slightly to gentle pressure while still remaining firm, transfer it to the refrigerator to maintain peak flavor and texture.

🍑Perfect Peaches: Nothing says summer quite like a ripe, juicy peach! From traditional yellow peaches to fun donut peaches, we look forward to featuring a variety of peach selections throughout the season. Looking for a creative way to enjoy them?
