We’ve had lots of questions about our blackberry patch lately, so here’s a little update! 🌿

It’s hard to believe these plants were just tiny little plugs when we purchased them last September and were only planted in the field this February. They’ve absolutely taken off and are looking fantastic!

Prime-Ark Freedom blackberries are a thornless variety known for producing large, sweet berries. While we won’t have a huge crop this year, these young plants should give us a small flush of berries this fall. Then next spring they’ll be established and ready to produce a much larger harvest.

We can’t wait to share these berries with you in the seasons ahead! 💚

Spent the morning cutting a few stems that were past their prime…..but gosh they’re still beautiful! This early summer favorite won’t be around much longer.

Two wonderful groups and so many gorgeous bouquets! 💐

We loved hosting the ladies of First Baptist Church Paris and Gospel Lighthouse PCG in Powderly over the last couple of days.

We have a busy week ahead here at Brambles & Blooms! 🌸

We’re kicking things off tonight with our first flower arranging workshop, hosted for the ladies of Gospel Lighthouse PCG.

We’re excited to use this as a test run as we work toward offering more flower arranging workshops and special events at the farm in the future. A huge thank you to this wonderful group for allowing us to try something new with them!

Looking forward to an evening of flowers, fellowship, and creativity. Stay tuned—we hope to have more workshops and events coming soon!

🌸 The test garden is still going strong! 🌸

One thing we love about having a test garden is getting to try new varieties before deciding what earns a spot out in the flower field. While some of these blooms never made it into full production, they’re still putting on quite a show and reminding us why we love experimenting with new flowers each season.

We have a private event at the farm this morning, but we’ll be open for U-Pick this evening from 6:00–8:30 PM.

Come enjoy a peaceful evening in the flowers, fill a cup or bucket, and see what’s blooming around the farm. 💐
