We’ve had some early mornings and long days in the saddle, but we’ve almost gotten everything turned out to summer grass.

We are so incredibly thankful for the possibility of grass this year. We aren’t sure how long the pastures will be able to hold cattle, but we know what we have is a precious gift.

Sometimes you just need a good scratch!

The broodmares are the closest thing to a land hippo that I’ve seen in a while. A few of the ladies have foaled but those that are left have the waddles for sure!

Thankful 🫶🏻❤️

After another week of fighting fires, this time on part of our ground and close to our summer range, we are breathing a sigh of relief.

The stress and anxiety of yesterday are not here. It will be back as the fire danger is still extreme. But not today.

Today, we are truly thankful for peace. Right here and now.

We’ve been busy on the ranch with calving but we’ve also been busy delivering beef orders!

These custom cut wholesale orders left our freezer here at the ranch in the wee hours of Friday morning.

They were safely delivered to freezers in Northern California as well as Western South Carolina before the night ended!

Everything arrived frozen solid and in perfect condition. One of our customers even had time to thaw out a steak a fix it for supper.
