Grateful. Humble. Determined.

Today a member of the unhoused community in Asbury Park popped into our restaurant and didn’t ask for anything, just thanked us for always having a meal ready for her. That’s what it’s all about really. The numbers aren’t important. The decision to always help is.

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and allows us to keep going. So many of you…we could only tag a few….but just know you are changing peoples lives.

There’s been times we’ve had hundreds of meals on the table, and other times we’ve only had a few. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been the right thing to do.

We thank you. We love you. God bless.

It's been an honor to cater the 2025 Barth Conference over the past few days. Bringing our food to a global audience and spreading our message of hope and new beginnings has been truly fulfilling.

We ditched the ubiquitous black plastic meal prep container, and the styrofoam shipping cooler back in 2021.

All of our packaging is made of 100% recyclable material. It makes our cost to pack and ship a meal more expensive, but it’s totally worth it. We will absolutely pay more for our containers and shipping if it means we are sticking to our values.

MacroBites is based on a foundation of macronutrients - proteins, fats, and carbs - and the fact that they need to be consumed in the right ratios for a nutritional plan to be successful.
Among their most popular items are their garlic herb-roasted chicken breast, New Orleans bourbon rib eye steak, pineapple teriyaki ginger chicken meatballs, and vegan options including a portobello mushroom burger, Southwest salad, and lemon zest tofu. All of the food is non-GMO, free of artificial ingredients, low in sodium and sugar, and locally sourced. It’s healthy and delicious!

Thank you for the article! We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to spread a message of resilience and hope to our community.

They said 3 Black formerly incarcerated men could never successfully operate a meal prep company in the extremely competitive Tri-State market. We went national in 2021, the first Black-owned meal prep company to do so. We also opened a restaurant in the middle of our hood in Asbury Park and flooded the block with free healthy ready-to-eat meals. We made that same space open to the community to participate in various health and wellness initiatives free of charge. We’re doing everything in our power to impact our community.

The moral of our story? Don’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t do, and don’t let your mistakes define you. If we can do it, ANYBODY CAN! Here’s to the underdogs 🥂.
