“Feed doesn’t matter as long as it’s high protein.”

I’ve heard that so many times in the dairy world. For the longest time, I struggled with milk production and just assumed it was “normal.” About a year ago, I switched my herd over to Purina Dairy Goat Feed and finally started seeing a huge difference.

Last week I ran out for about 3 days, so I figured alfalfa would be fine since it’s also high in protein. Wrong. My milk supply dropped drastically almost immediately.

I got my feed back 2 days ago, and this morning we’re finally seeing production pick back up again.

Moral of the story: feed DOES matter. Find what works for your herd, and stick with it.

Hi friends!

I know everyone has been so excited for the launch, and I just wanted to give a little update. Life has been extra busy lately between kids’ schedules, goats kidding, and all the everyday chaos that comes with it all. Because of that, the business launch has had to take a little backseat for the moment while I make sure everything is ready the way I want it to be.

Please know I am still working behind the scenes and so excited for the next steps. I haven’t given up on this dream one bit — it’s just taking me a little longer than planned. 🤍

Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and encouragement. It truly means more than you know! I can’t wait to share everything with you soon.

I’m convinced there’s a secret sock thief living in my house 😅

Tell me how I can wash all of our clothes and somehow end up with a pile of singles looking like this?? Not one complete pair in sight… just abandonment.

At this point the kids will have to accept that matching pairs are a luxury 😂

Anyone else fighting for their life in the laundry room or is it just me??
