Six To Midnight (GABF Beer) available on tap!

We are very excited and proud to announce that our GABF competition beer (Six To Midnight) will be available on tap starting today at Vintage 50 in Leesburg, VA!!! Lee Rogan and Rick Sancarranco of Funny Brau have been working with the great head brewer of Vintage 50, Bret Kimbrough, on an amazing Belgium Pale Ale that we are sure you will enjoy. Today is a very special day and we invite everyone to come out to this great location for some awesome food and to taste the beer that we will be using in competition at this year's Great American Beer Festival!!

This is hands down our biggest accomplishment and we appreciate all the support you have given us to reach this point. Thank you all.

Today we will be tapping a very special beer: Six To Midnight Belgian Pale Ale. This beer was brewed with local home brewers Lee Rogan and Rick Sancarrano as an entry into the Pro-Am competition of the Great American Beer Festival. The Pro-Am is a competition in which an award winning homebrew recipe is brewed at a professional brewery under the guidance of a pro brewer and pitted against other great homebrews in a professional judging. I am very proud to have brewed this delicious beer with these two fine gentlemen and I think you are going to love it. Come on by and grab a pint today! Cheers. -Bret

Great News!! Yesterday Lee Rogan and Rick Sancarranco of Funny Brau collaborated with Bret Kimbrough of Vintage 50 to create our competition beer for the 2014 Great American Beer Festival Pro Am at Vintage 50 in Leesburg. The base recipe we decided to use is our Belgium Saison that has won a total of four medals in 2013 (which include two medals in the top two Best in Show). The process went extremely well and we are very excited to keep everyone posted on it's progress. And to add to the excitement... when finished our beer will be available ON TAP for a limited time!! That's right, you will be able to purchase this beer and share with your friends! More information to come. CHEERS!!!

Our "Woah Blackberry" takes Gold in Category and a 4th Place Ribbon Best in Show at the Fredericksburg Brewfest Competition!!
