Hawlemont Regional School has been recognized by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for surpassing pre-pandemic MCAS scores in English language arts, which they attributed in part to the hands-on learning students experience through the Hawlemont, Agriculture and You (HAY) program.

Love those little black Kerry Cattle♥️

Jody Jess is establishing a seasonal grass-based dairy using Kerry cows (pictured) at Little Black Cow Dairy in Westminister, MA. Her goal is to demonstrate that a small mobile dairy can be viable. She’s also a founding member of the American Kerry Cattle Association and a 2021 Livestock Conservancy National Microgrant recipient using her award to launch the mobile dairy. Jody also has the honor of being the individual who proposed Heritage Breed Stamps to the US Postal Service!
