Today's high temperature was 17F, snow was two feet deep in the woods. 6 out of 7 sap runs are tapped! Tomorrow I'll tap the 7th and start up the systems! Here we go!!!!

Back from vacation this morning and out tapping! The buckets are up and collecting. Tomorrow I start taping the woods tomorrow, let the season begin!!!!!

Brrrr its been a long hard January and February here at Federfell Farms. Temps have solidly been in the single digits at night with several below 0 and only into the teens during the day. March though is looking great!!! We will walk the lines and making repairs after this storm from Monday - Friday. then March 1st and 2nd tap the trees!!! The season is almost upon us!!
