How about a little fun?
So it’s been awful quiet over here lately! I don’t think I’ve ever really introduced myself. I’m Brittnee and I’m the one over here having all the fun with liquor filled desserts!
As you can tell, I love to bake! I remember always being in the kitchen with my mom growing up, and being so excited to help her, or anyone else, in the kitchen. It definitely didn’t hurt that I grew up in a family that loves food—so there’s always someone around to share it with.
Back in 2005, I bought a Tigger shaped cake pan, simply because I was a huge Disney fan. I honestly never even intended to use it. But one day, I couldn’t resist. I had to see if I could do it. Well, down the rabbit hole I went! Before long, I amassed a collection of around 200 cake pans, tools, and loads of other stuff! Pretty soon, I was being asked by nearly everyone I knew to make cakes for all kinds of occasions.
I continued that in my spare time for several years, until I discovered how much more fun cupcakes are! Then I started experimenting with flavors—lots of them!! Now, everyone knows me as the one with the boozy cupcakes!
So why “The Sugar Byte”? Well, I can’t resist a good play on words. I was once quite the computer nerd (like Geek Squad level lol) and a ‘Byte’ is simply a unit of data. Yup, it’s dorky, but I love it! Go check out my other play on words—Icing on the Stitch! I bet you won’t be disappointed!
