Have you tried Picpoul de Pinet?
It’s a crisp, refreshing white wine made exclusively from the ancient Picpoul grape variety, hailing from the Languedoc-Roussillon’s Picpoul de Pinet AOC in southern France. This AOC is one of very few Languedoc appellations to be dedicated solely to white wine production. Snag a bottle before the long summer days are gone 😉

Venge Vineyards Scouts Honor 2019

If you love BIG California reds and have never experienced wines from this family, you are welcome. Scouts Honor is a great introduction this the beautiful wines this family prides themselves on. Named to honor the Venge’s first winery dog, the "Scout's Honor" blend this year is 63% Zin, 16% Charbono, 12% Petite Sirah, and 9% Syrah. Super ripe black fruits and currants, pepper, spice, and a touch a masculine barrel char. Seamless with an extra long finish.

Q. What is Bastille Day and why should I care?
A1. Bastille Day is a French national holiday held on July 14th, celebrating the storming of the Bastille in Paris in 1789 and marking the start of the French Revolution. The day commemorates the fall of the monarchy and the rise of the modern republic for its people! Sound vaguely familiar? In this way The good ole USA 🇺🇸 and France 🇫🇷 have more in common than meets the eye. We even share a color scheme!

A2. To a large extent, we have them to thank for modern wine making practice and some of the worlds best food and wine!

Whatever you think about Beaujolais, think again! Just south of Burgundy, Beaujolais is a region that produces beautiful wines made primarily of the grape Gamay. More than just cheap and cheerful Nouveau that you likely have in mind, these wines are fresh and fragrant and easy to drink! Striking the perfect balance acidity and alcohol. Jean-Claude Lapalu Beaujolais Villages La Tentation is made without added sulphites or commercial yeasts, and is fermented with native yeasts.

Jean-Claude Lapalu Beaujolais Villages La Tentation is a very fruity red wine that is easy to drink, can be served with a slight chill and will be perfectly paired with roasted chicken, pork or fatty fish like salmon or tuna.
