Bake the dough, even if it doesn’t rise.

It will still feed your family.

Life isn’t always going to be perfect. The bread might fall flat, the garden might not grow just right, and the plans might not unfold the way you pictured. But it’s still worth it. Every effort, every small act of love, still nourishes the ones you care for most.

Keep showing up. Keep trying. 💛

Been a little quiet on here lately. Life has been busy! Between the homeschooling the kids, kids’ sports, full-time college, and keeping up with homesteading, the days fly by. We’ve also been busy planting blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, apple trees, collards, and strawberries. 🍓🌳

We’re also hoping to be able to offer a few call ducks from our small flock and Jubilee English Orpingtons next year, so stick around to see how things grow!

Call ducks are so fun to watch. Their personalities are always shining.

Have a few young Lavender English Orpingtons 👀 for a new coop. Great bloodlines. CHANCE of them being lavender mottled as a few of them are getting mottling later than the others.

1 is for sure cockerel, and 2 are for sure pullets, others are unknown at this time. Roo has to go with a girl. Also have 1 chocolate English orpington cockerel same ago. Must pick up! Asheboro Nc
