🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆
Incredibly proud of this group of young men for their tremendous performance this weekend at the US Amateur State Championship. We faced some elite competition and tough battles early on, but the boys locked in, played selfless basketball, and finished the weekend at the top.
Watching their growth, discipline, and ex*****on on the court has been an absolute privilege. These boys earned every single bit of that gold trophy!
A special shoutout to my boy Matthew for leaving it all on the court and letting his hard work shine. Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and everyone who came out to support Manatee PAL. The future is incredibly bright for this squad! 🏀🔥

From the classroom to the court, he just keeps raising the bar. 🎓✨ Yesterday, Trey officially graduated from middle school, and he didn’t just finish—he dominated.
Beyond proud to watch him bring home the Principal’s Honor Award for maintaining a 4.0+ GPA, alongside the Academic Excellence medal in Physical Education for the entire 8th grade. Balancing top-tier academics while pouring his heart into his training takes a special kind of discipline.
Next stop: Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School! 🦅🏀 Ready to watch him take his talents to the classroom and join their district champion basketball team. The work ethic is unmatched, and the future is incredibly bright.

What a weekend! Huge shoutout to our Wave 6th Grade 12U team for winning the Insider Exposure Beach Bash tournament. These boys have been putting in the work, and seeing them bring home the rings is incredibly rewarding. A special congratulations goes out to Sebastian Veras (.l1s) for being named the tournament MVP! 🏆🏀 His focus and energy on the court were next level. I am so proud of this group!

Division 2 Champions! 🥇 Manatee PAL bounced back on Sunday and absolutely ran the table. Capping off the morning game with Trey hitting the final shot was the perfect momentum shift for an unforgettable day. Great leadership from Coach Dewayne and Coach Greg, and amazing effort from the whole Thunder Select squad.
