Some friends are having the launch party event for new company, Waypoint Adventure. They create customized adventures for disabled individuals, and are based right here in Black Mountain! Thank you to the follow Pubs that participated in the Sippin' for Service Fundraiser for Asheville Strong a total of $1071.00 Shamrocks ☘ were sold and not to mention all of the food and beverage that each of you purchased during the support of this event.

This money will be put back into our community during times of need to support our Food and Beverage Industry Partners.

Asheville Strong is a nonprofit organization that supports our local small businesses with online resources and crisis relief funding.

Our programs:

Feed Our City is an initiative that accomplishes two goals at once: feeding people in need while keeping our independent restaurants in business. Sourcing ingredients from local farms, our restaurant partners create delicious hot meals for people in Buncombe County. Our chef partners are making 1600+ meals per week…and that’s just the beginning.

The Asheville Strong Fund is a micro-grant program for small businesses in Buncombe County who are facing a crisis and need emergency grants between $500-5,000 to cover their business expenses. We are currently seeding the Fund and plan to launch in 2021. You can keep our economy healthy, diverse, and equitable with your donation today!

They start at $1, but can go as high as you want. 100% of the proceeds to the Sippin' for Service fund with Asheville Strong. It will benefit members of the local F & B community that have fallen on economic hardship, or are uninsured.

We also heard a rumor that a certain group of Spirits and Beer reps will be running around town, spreading some St. Paddy's Day cheer & merriment!
