Calla Fest! It’s our celebration of these amazing, longlasting blooms of summer! Buy one bunch of callas, get one free! Buy one stem of callas, get one freee! Enjoy a special simple calla crown at a special price!

Callas Lilies — also called Zantedeschia (what a mouth full) — are amazing, trumpet shaped blooms from Southern Africa. The “flower” is actually a modified leaf called a spathe, and it easily lasts 10 days — sometimes every 2 weeks!

Enjoy calla fest, a great chance to celebrate these beautiful blooms!

Our market booth is overflowing with amazingness today! The first gladiolus from the greenhouse, callas, sunflowers, strawflower, mixed bouquets AND a special stem bar. PLUS mixed bouquets are 2 for $35 and straight bunches are But 2, Get 1 Free soooo don’t miss market! We’re on North Market Street until noon. Free parking at Hometrust Bank. Yay!

Some flowers come and go, but strawflower is forever. It’s a staple on our farm and we will always grow it — but also, if you dry it, it lasts “forever.” That is, forever until your dog rips it up or a toddler gets ahold of it or it just gets so dusty and faded it’s gross. It’s colorful and bright and wonderful fresh or dried, and it’s on our website now in the farm bunches section. You can order for delivery or pick up!

Goodbye May with amazing poppies and peonies! Welcome June with an abundance of callas, strawflower and other heat lovers! These bridal bouquets capture this season. I love that flowers convey the essence of the day when you wed. Like the photos, the flowers reflect the moment and create a memory you’ll cherish forever. Which bouquet would you choose?

Also, this is a great post to show the difference between our modern bouquet style, with its vertical lines and (often) callas and our classic bouquet style, which is rounder and fuller.

We are obsessed with these callas, which I have dubbed Orange Mango Callas. This name has no relationship to any actual flower variety — these are actually called Captain Odeon — but I like rebranding all the flowers to better describe their vibe, and the vibe of this calla is juicy, colorful and fun — like a mango! These beauties will brighten your home. Orange is very in right now, apparently, but these are so much more than orange: they’re peach and yellow and red and red and very, very painterly, as if each petal were touched by an artistic brush! And if you’re still skeptical about orange mango, we also have callas in white and pink. Absolutely one of the most long lasting flowers we grow. You can find them on the website or in the shop!

A beauteous classic wedding at Biltmore with so many of our friends! White and green is a traditional wedding color choice, but with modern updates like the floating arbor, meadows and green taper candles, we kept the classic palette fresh and modern! How wonderful that so many of you want to come see the farm this summer! Our July 18 flower workshop is almost sold out, with just 4 tickets left. It’s on early bird special until Monday.

In response to your enthusiasm, we’ve launched a second option for July 18: just the farm tour! Come see the flowers, learn about farming, explore our greenhouse and enjoy the 360 degree mountain views at golden hour. Evening on the farm is incredibly special! And we’ll send you home with a little premade flower bouquet.

Get your people, have dinner in Hendersonville before the tour, and walk it off on our beautiful 30 acre property. This farm is not open to the public, so ticketed events are the only time when you can join us!

Experience summer on the flower farm July 18! It’s definitely the most colorful time of year, and we’re hosting a flower arranging workshop! Join us July 18 from 9 am to 11 am to beat the heat and see all the gorgeous blooms on our 30 acre farm. We’ll do a grand tour, pick flowers, learn to arrange them, and you’ll create a floral masterpiece to take home! Tickets are on sale now, and they’re going fast with 30% sold in the first day 😱 Still, we are not Beyoncé, so take a couple days to make plans with your crew and then sign up!
