A fitting inception for AVL’s finest season.

Camp Brauhaus 2026 is in the books. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate Autumn’s looming arrival. Even if it didn’t quite feel like it. Each year, we learn how to make this event a little better. Rest assured that the team is already thinking through our 2027 festivities.

With our RAD location on the horizon for next year, we might even have a little Oktoberfest-hopping in the works for y’all...

Week of 9/2 Releases Part 2.

Roaring Into the Darkest Hour Imperial Stout (Collaboration with Holy Mountain Brewing). I am nowhere except where I am supposed to be. Humbled by the energy of an intertwined network of pumping hearts. Idled alongside this uncomfortable encounter with levity. Here I lay lucid. Here I remain inside the comfort of these flickering lights. A seance we created with our long time Seattle friends at Holy Mountain. We had the great pleasure of hopping on a boat with Colin during a Summer trip back to our ole home of Seattle, reminiscing about a world we long left behind, and talking about the parallel lives of our two breweries. So for this one, we wanted to stay connected through some shared loves, of coffee, of delicacies, of wine, of fishing and of camaraderie.

A blend of 3 different Imperial Stouts, aged upon coffee beans from Seattle’s Stamp Act Coffee, toasted pistachio and salted caramel, and a grip of Bourbon barrel-aged vanilla beans. The result is a Pike Place caramel macchiato, mixed with nutty General Porpoise donuts, and a salty walk along the Puget.

Week of 9/2 Beer Releases (Part 1).

When I Surfed The Sky West Coast Double India Pale Ale (HEAVY RESIN Edition).

You want to ride to glory, fine. But are you crazy enough. Double Surf Wax. Draped in the shroud of the HEAVY RESIN. For the first time ever. A finer point in the 13 glorious years we have spent in these Asheville hills. Triple dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Fresh sliced mango and juicy pineapple sprinkled with lemon zest with a balanced hoppy finish.

A Subtle Touch At The Edge of Violence Double India Pale Ale (HEAVY RESIN).

The most dangerous forces seldom arrive with thunder. Germinating in certainty. Unwavering in the belief that one heart deserves dominion over another. And grace is never loud enough to drown out fury. We rage forward under the guise of the HEAVY RESIN. Mashed with wheat and oats. Whirlpooled with Motueka Cryo and Citra Incognito. Double dry-hopped with Motueka, Riwaka, Comet, and Strata Hyperboost. Tastes like passionfruit and lime popsicles dipped in pink guava puree and citrus sugar. Tastes even better alongside a smash burger and fries.

Four rotations complete. Many more spins to come.

We emerged from the wild, electric static of our Charlotte sanctuary deeply humbled by the sheer weight of your presence. Together, we buried four years of mundane obligations beneath a steady tide of specialty pours, celebrating the relentless refuge Alissa and her crew have crafted in the Queen City.

The room practically vibrated with raw energy, fueled by an unbelievable collection of local vendors, creators, and artists who brought the space to life. Your memory wall stories and the late-night energy on the rooftop elevated the House of Relics into a proper monument of our shared obsession.

As we step boldly into whatever lies ahead, we carry this energy with us, bound to everyone who came out to mark the journey and eager to create even greater memories together in the years to come.
