Our buildout feels like yesterday and also a million years ago. As we approach another anniversary of Helene it was all such a whirlwind from helping a friend clean out his building to being handed keys, collecting tables to refurbish, painting memorials, cutting ceiling tiles, building desks and crates from pallets. And the cleaning. Oh my the cleaning. Things we forget on the day to day but not in the long term were the people who helped us from the start. Friends2Ferals for hauling things, donating downed branches and us paying back with . The friends who became first vendors and helped CLEAN! The Asheville Co. All of it! So in less than 2 weeks we’re going to start a 100 days until Christmas countdown! This will feature a local vendor each day. To kick start things, we are doing a massive shirt blow out 50% off sale. We have a ton more in the back so if you’re looking for a color just ask! Child model/produce manager Brighid is showing off an example of what you can own for just $17.50! Our country mourns the loss of Dolly. Asheville thanks her for the donations after Helene. We thank her for allowing our children to have access to free books. We thank her for even more than that. She’s back with her husband and at peace and a way we’re helping honor her is by selling her wine. (Purchased before she passed). Our area is pouring out love and it is beautiful to see on Haywood Road, Malvern Hills Park, and everywhere throughout the city memorials
