I finally have a moment to update you all!
Thank you to everyone who has shown up for us, supported us, shared our posts, brought friends, and stopped by for a drink since we finally opened a couple months ago.
This has been a 10-year dream for me, and honestly, it’s pretty crazy to say that it’s finally happening.
Did I mention that I’ve officially quit my day job and am now doing River Rays full time, I’m having a hard time keeping up.
With that comes A LOT. 😅 We’re still figuring out what days and hours make the most sense, trying to get on a consistent schedule, learning all the fun stuff that comes with being the only employee currently, inventory runs, payroll and taxes, managing expenses, and just trying to keep up with everything that goes into running a business.
There is SO much that happens behind the scenes that you don’t see when you come up to the coffee trailer.
And one thing I really care about is consistency. I want you to be able to come to River Rays and know that your drink is going to taste the way I intended it to. That takes a lot more prep and work than it probably looks like from the other side of the counter.
We’re also finally getting to the point where we can finish some of the things inside the trailer. 😂 We’ve been running this whole thing out of milk crates and basically no shelving while we’ve slowly invested back into the business.
We’re getting things organized, putting things where they actually belong, and getting the last piece ready for installation.
And then… 👀
We’ve got something new coming that we REALLY hope you’re going to love.
So stay tuned. ❤️
Thank you for being here while we figure this all out. We’re learning as we go, growing as we go, and I’m just really grateful that you’re along for the ride 🤙
