Preliminary breeding plans. A few are subject to change if they do not settle in July and are instead bred in December. As usual, I will take reservations on buck kids and a wait list on does. PM me if there is any particular breeding that catches your eye. The doe kid wait list does NOT guarantee that you will get a doe kid from any particular breeding, should one or more be born!
That being said, I will be parting with a couple of milkers in the next few months as I would really like to not be breeding 14 does. I will also have a mature breeding buck available that I am just not able to use at this time. All of these animals will be show quality, and I would prefer to place them in performance homes. Shoot me a message if you would potentially be interested!

It has been a very busy last couple of months here, but today marks the beginning of a 3 month break in kidding season until the last three does in June! Asgarth kidded early this morning with a gorgeous 9.5 # single buck kid. He is stylish and wide as a house. Beautiful front end, too. This brings our current kid count to 5 does and 4 bucks. Currently reminding myself that I do NOT, in fact, need to keep a jr herdsire, this guy will be available.

Updated photos of Holly's available buck kid! Born 1/4, his dam is a very promising FF who already did 6.5 # on her first milk test just a couple weeks fresh. Located in Ashford, AL; CAE, CL, and Johnes negative herd as well as certified TB and Brucellosis free. Lots of information about his parents and grandparents can be found on our website. Pm for more info!

I have not been keeping up with this page as much as I should have, but our first four does are confirmed bred for 2022!

Caelum Parvum CPX Holly x CH(Pend) Caelum Parvum NC Anteres, due January 15th

CH (Pend) Caelum Parvum NC Anemone x CH (Pend) Caelum Parvum RM Xavier (also exposed to Harbinger, but he showed little interest at the time...kids will be DNA'd), due January 28th

Caelum Parvum NC Andromeda x CH(Pend) Caelum Parvum RM Xavier, due January 28th

Caelum Parvum MH Patience x *B Foxwood FWV Aston Martin (kids will be experimental), due January 28th

Polaris is still quiet, and our next batch will have blood pulled soon to confirm pregnancies. If you would like to be added to our wait list for a 2022 kid, please PM me. I will keep very few doe kids this next year. Patience, along with one of our FFs (will decide which one once fresh), will also be available after kidding. As always, performance homes are preferred as they are not culls. I am just trying to keep numbers as small as possible! I am hoping to get the website updated in the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime Blithe is due on Sunday so we will have kids once again very soon!

It has been a very hectic month here, but things are finally starting to slow down a bit. 13 out of 16 does are fresh, with 25 kids born thus far. Lady is due next week, which will leave us with the last two stragglers in May. Looking forward to wrapping up kidding season!

It has been a busy couple of weeks here at the farm! Anemone kidded on February 4th with a huge single Experimental doe kid. Katarina kidded on the 5th with a large DOA buck kid. A bit disappointed about that one, as she was my SG ++*B Hoggs-Hideaway Chalupa AI, but I'm glad it wasn't a doe! Eressea was next after a battle with ketosis and inducing her on day 141. She kidded on the 9th with healthy triplets, 2 does and a buck. Inheritance and Noelle both kidded on the 10th, Inheritance with buck/doe twins and Noelle with 2 bucks and a teeny underdeveloped DOA doe. Finally, Eudril kidded yesterday at about 1:30 AM with a beautiful, large set of buck/doe twins. We now have a couple of days before we begin the second half of kidding season, for which I am grateful. 7 of the 8 final does are FFs, so things should get interesting! Here is a photo collection of the kids born so far, names are on each photo. We currently have one very nice lamancha buck kid available from Inheritance and CH Carter. PM me if you're interested!

Ayala started off our kidding season last week with twin does. Unfortunately, one aspirated a lot of fluid and passed away shortly after birth, but the other girl is doing very well! Niagra then kidded on Monday with a huge, healthy set of buck/doe twins (names are on each photo). Both doe kids are retained for now, but the buck kid is available. He is the silver chocolate/white paint. I will get more pictures of him once he unravels a bit and post pedigree info, pm me if you're interested! This little guy is super correct, and would make a very nice herdsire for someone! His dam has her Advanced registry milking star and peaked at 10 # last year as a first freshener, and his sire has his restricted leg, multiple RGCH wins, and is fast becoming one of our all-time favorite herdsires!

The website has also been updated with more recent photos of the majority of the does, a few of the bucks, and the breeding list. Most doe kid reservations are full, but I should have several buck kids or wethers available so if there is a particular breeding that interests you, let me know!

Our annual testing came back, and the herd is once again 100% negative for CAE/CL/Johnes, and the paperwork is being sent off for our TB and Brucellosis recerticication! Andromeda is the only one missing, she is up at the University of Auburn's large animal teaching hospital for an orthopedic issue and will be quaratimed and tested once she comes home.
