The U.S. International Trade Commission investigation into whether increased imports of lamb meat are a substantial cause of serious injury to our domestic sheep industry is underway and moving on a fast track.

We now need as many U.S. sheep producers as possible, regardless of the size of your flocks, to join with us in this investigation under the Protect American Lamb umbrella.

Numbers matter in this effort, and this is our opportunity to obtain meaningful relief from the excessive imports that have decimated our domestic sheep industry.

By Sunday night, Aug. 9, please complete the Membership Authorization and Designation of Representative form to join Protect American Lamb.

There is no cost to join, and Charles Benoit, trade counsel for the Coalition for a Prosperous America, will represent all sheep producers who join Protect American Lamb to prove our case at no cost.

I cannot express how thrilled I am with the work that these guys have done this week. The jobs this week weren't all easy and they kicked ass with zero complaints.

Spring shearing is officially in the books. What an incredible Spring. The stories that could be told this year could fill multiple novels. Through all of the hardships and the great days to have already shorn over 10,000 head and still have a very busy fall shearing to come. I cannot thank everyone enough that has had us out to take care of their flocks. From our 1,000 head ranches to the single family pets. What an absolute privilege this has been.

Bring on the fall!
