It's been a busy year, and we're a little late on annual testing, but it's now complete. And while the vet was out, I obtained health certificates on my show string so we can get back to showing this year.
It's always a relief to see our herd remains clean.
Now, I suppose it's time to start shaving and getting ready for the show ring!

In my efforts to downsize, Early Morning Gemma has been added to the sell list.
This is a Flat Rock's WhisperNtheDark and Early Morning Onyx daughter.
Onyx and her dam, Skarlet were both on extended lactation last year and did very well. Onyx is daughter to Fields of Grace MidnightCowboy, who has proven to me to be a production buck. Onyx outperforms her dam in the milk room. (Midnight is also sire to my prized heavy producer, Nugget.)
Onyx and Skarlet participated in LA in 2024 and scored GVVV86 and GVVV87, respectively.
Whisper was in the show ring once as a junior and placed Reserve in a class of over 20 bucks.
Gemma is a really lovely doe, and I have high expectations for her.

Early Morning Jasmine is my beloved Violet daughter. She's a gorgeous girl, and has been in milk since last spring, and will just stay in milk.

Jasmine has a full brother who will be available in about a month.

I celebrated a life changing anniversary this week. 9 years ago, I welcomed my first goats to the farm. It's been pure chaos ever since. 😂

It's not all goats here on the farm. Gardening season is in full swing and the weather could not be more perfect. I'm looking forward to loads of fresh produce in the coming months.

These two kids are pretty wild so I'm working to fix that. It looks like they won't be for much longer.

I had company in the milk room this evening. Looks like he took care of a nuisance mouse and just needs a peaceful place to digest.
