Sin will always try to convince you that it’s easier to stay where you are—to keep the same habits, the same patterns, the same compromises. But the truth is, the cost of staying in sin is far greater than the pain of surrender. Yes, walking away from sin is hard. Yes, breaking habits and denying your flesh is painful. But hearing Jesus say, “Depart from Me, I never knew you,” is far more devastating.

Choose the hard that leads to life. Choose repentance over comfort. Choose obedience over temporary pleasure. Every time you say “no” to sin, you’re saying “yes” to eternity with Him. God doesn’t expect perfection, but He does desire your pursuit—your willingness to turn away from what breaks His heart and run toward what pleases Him.

Let your love for Jesus be stronger than your love for the world. Because at the end of the day, only one kind of “hard” leads to peace, freedom, and everlasting joy—the kind that keeps you close to Him. 🙏🏻🤍
