We are looking to sell some equipment and supplies. All in outstanding shape and very clean. If you know anyone in the market for restaurant items, please let me know. We can discuss price and we can set up a time for you to come and look at the items.

Items would need to be picked up no later than 10/15/25. We do not deliver.

Shame to see Cajun River Bistro go. The best gumbo in Cheatham county.
Sadly, several of our local friends and family will be losing their jobs.
Please help us show them some love and go visit them before they close. If you bring a receipt from the bistro dated 9/7-9/17 to Sidelines Grill-Ashland city in the next 30 days, we will take 10 percent off of your bill. Former employees of the bistro will get the same.
Thank you for providing our community with a great cajun experience.

**************UPDATE*****************

We were hoping to be open till Friday 9/12/25. We did not place a truck order this week so there was not that extra overhead and we have sold out of nearly all items! SO TONIGHT 9/11/25 WAS OUR FINAL NIGHT! CAJUN RIVER BISTRO wants to thank each and everyone of our guest for coming and letting us share some of our Cajun Cuisine & culture with everyone.

While this was a very hard decision to close this location, I will just say you haven't seen the last of us!!! Keep up with our Facebook as we may be doing some pop ups at festivals and some catering events!

WE LOVE YOU ALL AND YOU WILL STILL SEE US AROUND TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE OF CHEATHAM COUNTY!

PLEASE REMEMBER SUPPORT LOCAL!! Here in Cheatham County we have bookstores, coffee shops, ice cream spots, pizza, Italian, seafood, breweries, bars, non profits, shops, hair salons, massage, tanning, gyms, realtors, churches, etc.

Why drive 30 mins away when you can support your neighbor who may be struggling to keep their doors open! LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the closing of our family business, CAJUN RIVER BISTRO. We have made the difficult decision to close our doors.

Our last day of business will be Friday September 12th, 2025 or until we run out of product.

The current state of inventory pricing, a shrinking customer base, inflation, and the cost of doing business with minimal support have all contributed to this decision. Moreover, our industry has been in a constant downturn, making it increasingly difficult to sustain our business.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their tireless effort and work. We are grateful for their loyalty and commitment to our company. We could not have achieved the success we did without their hard work and dedication.

We would also like to express our appreciation to our customers for their trust and support. We are proud to have served the Cajun Cuisine and to have played a part in the success of so many Charitable donations to non-profit groups in Cheatham County.

While we are saddened by the closure of Cajun River Bistro, we are grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained. We will cherish these as we move forward. We would like to encourage people of Cheatham County to support your local businesses (restaurants, bookstores, coffee shops, hair salons, festivals, etc.).

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey.
