Tomorrow night (Tue Sept 8th) I will be set up at the football field for Lawrence County’s Powderpuff Games! 100% of sales will be donated to the Class of 2028. It is a very limited menu, consisting of pulled pork sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches and mac n cheese. The window will be open at 6:30. Long read but important info.

I am so thankful for each and every one of you during these past three years. I started JJ's Grub Truck on a total whim of idea to provide something other than fried fast food. After two years, you made my quesadillas such big sellers, I just had to rename the truck to JJ's Quesadilla Carriage.

The amount of you who became my biggest fans makes my heart swell with pride. I worked as hard as I could to provide the best quality and service, never wanting to give anything except what you all grew to love and expect from me.

So many of you have become more than just a face at my window. In my journeys from Louisa to Rush, Sandy Hook, Grayson, Cattlestsburg, Cannonsburg, Paintsville, Sparta, and West Liberty, I've literally met some of the best people. You have been there from day one to support me and YOU are the reason I've been so successful in this journey.

Now of course I couldn't have done what I did without my helpers at the window. I've had some good ones, for sure. I learned the hard way with some but have made extremely great friends with others. Que sera, sera

To my other food truck friends. Anyone brave enough to purchase and run their own business is a hero in my book. The long days and nights, the shopping, prepping, cooking, booking, scheduling...it's a LOT! But it's so worth it! Some of you I've become such good friends with and could not have done this without you. You've been a huge support system to me and I'm so fortunate to have crossed paths with each and every one of you. We are one huge work family and all realize there's enough for us all. Never petty or selfish, we've all helped each other out when we could. I wish the whole world could work in unison like we do!

That being said, it is extremely difficult to announce the end of my food trucking journey. Not due to of lack of business, financial difficulties, or me just being tired of it. If anything, I've grown so much, especially the past year and a half. Grown more tired as well, lol, but that's neither here nor there.

My family moved to Kentucky from New York in 2022 and we thought our moving days were over. We were wrong. My husband, daughter and I will be venturing to Texas very soon. We always strive for the best opportunities and way of life. My husband was offered a fantastic career move in the Lone Star State. He's been a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan (although I really thinks he's been a lifelong Dallas Cheerleaders fan hahaha) so he is stoked to be moving there. We all are, honestly. This state has been great to us and we will miss so many people.

Halloween is my most favorite holiday, as a lot of you know. Hence the skull logo and skeleton on the front of the trailer. So it only seems fitting to make October 31st my last day. I am scheduled in Grayson for their Octoberfest. I will fit in as much as I can at all my usual spots between now and then.

I will be selling my food truck. If you or anyone you know is interested, reach out to me for more info.

Thank you all again for everything. All the love, support, friendship and memories I will forever cherish. I never had to consider poisoning anyone's food.
