I was pretty quiet on social media last week because Lilly and Andrew were home for the first time in nine months. And although I wanted to share all the amazing things that were happening, including their engagement pictures, I told myself that I was going to enjoy every moment without being on my phone.
You will hear a lot of social media influencers who have very large accounts talk about how they feel like they can never experience anything in their life without documenting it for their followers. I never want to feel like that, so I am really intentional about stepping away when our entire family is together which only happens a few times a year.
I was so thankful for all of the memories that we made last week as a family and look forward to having everyone home again at Christmas.
In the meantime, we have lots of wedding details to plan, but we are so thankful that our photographer Cleveland Wedding Photographer is booked and her amazing engagement pictures just reinforced that we definitely made the right decision!
