This week my beautiful mother-in-law went to be with the Lord. For nearly 20 years, she loved me as her own—never just a daughter-in-law, but truly a daughter. I always said I won the lottery with the best mother-in-law in the world, and I meant it.
She had a way of making everyone feel special, known, and deeply loved. She was kind to everyone she met, endlessly generous, and always made sure you had your favorite food at her table. She taught me the joy of cooking and the love that comes from feeding others.
She was a devoted Nama, a constant source of encouragement, and a steady support in every season of our lives. Her faith was strong—she loved to pray and sing hymns, and I will always treasure the times we went to church together.
Her beautiful smile and unconditional love will stay with me forever. I am so grateful for the years I had with her.
