Weisinger Family Winery produces wine from fruit grown in the Bear Creek Valley around Ashland, Oregon. Located in the Rogue Valley Appellation of southern Oregon, the Bear Creek Valley is home to many grape varietals such as Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Weisinger Family Winery produces many of these wines, as well as Pinot Noir, our signature Gewürztraminer a

nd proprietary Bordeaux blends such as Claret and Petit Pompadour. Weisinger Family Winery produces small lot, limited production craft wines. We believe great wines are made in the vineyard and as a result manage nearly all the vineyards we produce wine from. Our goal is to allow the terroir of each vineyard to carry through to the finished wine. By keeping wine lots small, and segregated by vineyard, we are able to let the characteristics of each vineyard site express themselves.

Meet Ian!

Operations guy, w**emaker, and the person who somehow knows random facts about everything. He went from molecular cloning to managing the whole place - and he makes it look easy.

Ask him anything. He probably has an answer. We love you Ian!

Plans for sparkling

Eric's weighing the decisions right now - what method makes sense for what we're trying to create. Méthode champenoise takes time, but it's worth it. Every choice changes what ends up in the bottle.

That's the part of w**emaking that doesn't get talked about enough. It's not just about the grapes. It's about the decisions made in the cellar when nobody's around.

Friday night plans?

Rogue-ish Smokers food truck, Jeff Kloetzel on the deck, and a glass of w**e to make it all feel right. 5-8pm Friday, August 28th.

That's the kind of Friday we're after.

Treading grapes - the old way Eric still believes in

Gentle pressure from human feet releases juice while keeping seeds and stems intact. No harsh tannins, no shortcuts. Just respect for the fruit.

This is how it's been done for thousands of years. Eric knows that sometimes tradition makes better w**e. That's what you taste in every bottle.

Cheers to 2026 harvest

We kicked things off by picking our Estate Pinot Noir with sparkling in mind.

This is harvest season in the Rogue Valley, and we're already thinking ahead about what these grapes will become. Fresh, bright, intentional. The way it should be.

Here we go.

Treading grapes - where it all begins

There's something about putting your hands and feet in the harvest that connects you to what w**emaking really means. This is where Eric's w**es start - with intention, with respect for the fruit.

Every step matters. This is what goes into every bottle.

Sometimes all I think about is you

A glass of Weisinger Family w**e on the patio, the way the afternoon light hits the vineyard, Eric's voice talking about why he made a w**e the way he did. Some things stay with you long after you leave.

That's the kind of place this is.
