Our Story

Blue Fox Farm is home to the only Waldorf-inspired forest kindergarten program in mid-Missouri. We advocate for nature-based education for all children on our small, diversified family farm located 12 miles south of Columbia. We are focused on building a resilient homestead while producing high quality, nutrient-dense food. We cultivate less than 5 acres of our 70 acres in the Missouri River Hills. The rest is a wild place, which we strive to leave as an intact ecosystem for pollinators and other wildlife. We use responsible management techniques, such as eliminating invasive plants and selecting for natives, edibles, and medicinals.
