Calving has officially began for Fall 2022. F1 Baldy bull calf out of this great daughter of one of our foundation Hereford cows and sired by a really good Angus bull from Upchurch Brothers Angus. Very excited about these calves, and so is Savannah! Got to ride out to the pasture this morning with Melanie Clark King, Austin King, and Savannah!

King Land and Cattle COMPLETE Brangus and Ultrablack herd Dispersal this Saturday March 6 at Clay County Livestock in Ashland, AL.

Scottsdale, our junior Ultrablack herdsire. Pictured here at 2 years old. Scottsdale’s first calves out of Silverado sired heifers have come small and started growing quickly. Scottsdale is sired by Guardian. This is as near of an example as to what our ideal phenotype is as we have produced. Square hip, great middle, plenty of length, good feet and leg set on ample bone. He also has great sheath design, which is very important as well. We expect him to sire functional cattle that will work in the pasture and the showring.
