This is my baby.....my Lake Superior Soap 😍 I had a dream about this soap around 9 years ago. I got up, grabbed some paper and drew out what I dreamed. Then started looking for someone to make the molds. After a few weeks I finally found a business in Taiwan who said they could do it. Three months later I had the molds. It was quite a learning curve to make them and it's quite fiddly to say the least, but I love them. I have to use a little tool for the islands and the brown part, and pour the blue/green lake part at an exact temperature. Too cool it doesn't stick, too hot it melts the brown and you get a mess. I've made a few thousand over the years and like to show pictures of my process every once in a while. Definitely not something that can be mass produced....ever 😂..... Seeing the light shine through them always brightens my day. I have them in several of my windows. The lake color is from mica minerals that I had specially made to order to look like Lake Superior and the brown to look like dirt/mud 😁 I bought enough mica minerals when I got them to last as long as I make the soaps. They are made with a detergent free honey soap and are super special to me. These beauties will be in our farm store tomorrow 💖

I have been making pure tallow soap for a few months now and finally have some labeled and in our farm store. There's Pure Beef Tallow soap with honey & Pure Beef Tallow Soap with honey & Birch essential oil. I use our beef tallow and our honey, water and lye. The part I love best is that we grow the beef, render the tallow, harvest the honey, and make the soap. It's such an amazing process! I really love this soap because it is gentle and moisturizing & it is very sustainable because I use our own tallow and honey. The lather is creamy and it feels wonderful on skin. It's become our favorite soap. I also make a tallow body butter that I love and may eventually put that in the store too. The tallow has many properties our skin has so it works really well for soap and body butter 💖

Found this beautiful store on our way to Ladysmith a few years ago....Meadowbrook Cranberry. I love stopping here! I tried out her Cranberry & Cranberry-Blackberry Soap and loved it. Also tried her lip balm and loved it. Lip Balm is Cranberry, Cranberry-Amaretto, Cranberry-Margarita and Cranberry-Orange. I now have them all in our Farm Store 💖

My Lake Superior Soap from first pour to finished product. I had a dream about this soap many years ago. Woke up, drew out the plans, had the molds made and have been making them ever since. I use a small tool on the brown part to make the islands and get the soap in all of the small places. Then it has to dry. The blue part is glycerin honey soap & a special mica mineral mix to get the blue/green color. Then I pour the blue soap at exactly 125 so it sticks to the brown layer but doesn't melt it. Let them dry, pop them carefully out of the molds and wrap them for sale. It's a long, tedious process but it always makes me smile when I see them with the light shining through the lake. I have them in the windows of my house 😍 These will be in our Farm Store tomorrow.

Thank you to our family, friends, and customers. We appreciate your support!! 2022 was a great year and we are grateful to everyone 💖 Looking forward to 2023 which is our 4th year having the store! We'll be adding some new products in the Farm Store this year. I will post as we get them in. Currently we carry 3 different soaps from....Yulia's( goat milk), Sweet Pea Soapery, Meadowbrook Cranberry Soap in Cranberry & Cranberry Blackberry and occasionally my herbal soaps. I still make my sugar scrubs, salve, body butter, Lake Superior Soap, etc., but have decided to find a variety of bar soaps for the store so customers have more choices. Making Body Butter for our Farm Store today 😊 I made Unscented, Spearmint -Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon and a couple of small Cranberry Pomegranate this time too. All will be in the store tomorrow 💖

My latest herbal soap creation....Plum Blossom & Violet is now in our Farm Store 😍Made with plum blossom & violet tea, rose clay, Purple Brazilian Clay and pure honey. I was able to catch the Plum Blossom essence in this soap and it's absolutely lovely 💖🌿

Decided to try my luck at making Plum Blossom & Violet Soap. It turned out really nice and smells so good! I infused violet flowers & leaves and plum blossoms which smell amazing! These will be in our Farm Store in a couple of weeks 💖
