Just a small sample of the depth of quality in the chip barn. Between running a judging. team all over the country and breeding sows for winter pigs I managed to snap a handful of pictures. MVGE "Missed Opportunity"! After the immense amount of calls and texts about the picture i posted of this one, we figured it was time to follow up with the video people have been asking for. The count is now 25 sows that "Missed Opportunity" has serviced for July and August pigs (He has bred EVERYTHING red and in heat in Ashland). "Missed Opportunity" is dense in his skeleton, offers great shape with an exotic look up front and a bulletproof running gear! This one is an OUTCROSS to anything red and walking that didn't originate here at Mohican Valley Genetics. His mother is from my BEST sow family and a foundation sow here at MVG herself. Really excited for the future with this one.

Missed Opportunity’s mama is our foundation 3-2 OWAB 84-4 x 81-3 Rawhide x 40-1 Out With A Bang x 5-5 Flash Drive. She was the Durst’s families high points gilt from a few years ago from us.

He’s being collected regularly since he’s seeing the herd. He’s consistently making 14 plus doses extended at 5.5 billion.

Needless to say…. I’m very excited to get Missed Opportunity babies on the ground this summer. Moderate, ELITE built, great chest and rear leg build, enormous legged with plenty of muscle. One of the most exciting young red boars I’ve made in recent years.
