September in Ohio is basically permission to plan a road trip around warm donuts. These 12 c***r donut stops mix fresh-from-the-fryer treats with orchards, apple picking, and farm markets, and a few are good enough to justify a serious detour.

Trying to get lots of goodies in one photo is tough! Macintosh are in the market starting today, pumpkin apple and broccoli cheese are the soups, Banana cream pie donuts, and mega chocolate chunk cookie sandwiches (two cookies filled with chocolate buttercream!) reminder that Wednesdays are senior discount day too.

HIRING PICKERS! The peak of the picking season is just around the corner and we’re looking for 4-5 people to help. Some requirements - it’s a physical job so you must be able to lift 50 # (picking basket), climb a ladder, and be a little flexible to get in and around the tree branches. Kids Fun Days Sat Sept 12th and Sunday Sept 13th at Brants’s Apple orchard.

Big Dog Bounce House will have inflatable slides, rockwall and carnival games for a fee.

Balloon artist, face-painting and hayrides will also be available.

Bring the whole family out for a fun filled day!

Hayrides 11-4pm. Asian pear self picking offered all day today.

“The lines are too long at Brant’s” We know it can get busy, so on weekends we have outside sales of basic items (c***r, donuts, apples, hay rides). We are also brining in food trucks this year to help keep the food wait times down. Doing our best!

Did someone say Honeycrisp?!? They’re in the market starting today! Crooked Tacos food truck will be here 11-2 to help us with the lunch rush. You pick Chojuro Asian pears, Blueberry lemon donuts, pulled pork / Mac n cheese sandwiches, pistachio donut bread pudding, mums available, and finally some sun! Whew - lots going on!

Whipped up some caramel apple cookie sandwiches today! Two caramel apple cookies, vanilla bean buttercream, and rolled in sprinkles (cause sprinkles are for winners!). Available in the bakery!

They’re so pretty we’re just posting a picture of the donut - Almond Joy donuts today! Chicken tortilla soup, apple crisp available too. Daybreak Fuji, Sansa, Paula red, mollies delicious, redfree, and gingergold in the market. Fingers crossed for no more rain!
