Chef Mawa McQueen brings her passion for food along with her experiences growing up on the Ivory Coast and in Europe to her Colorado restaurants: Mawita, Mawa's Kitchen, and The Crepe Shack Aspen. Mawa's business achievements have been recognized nationally and internationally. When she is not cooking and running her restaurant and granola business, she gives back to her communities. She helped raise over $20,000 to build a well for a village in Zambia so the residents could access clean water.
