CALLING LOCAL MAKERS & CRAFTERS!

We’re excited to be planning a special holiday weekend at Showers Tree Farm, and we’re looking for a few more talented local makers and crafters to join our Holiday Makers Market!

ONLY 9 VENDOR SPOTS REMAIN!

To create a thoughtfully curated shopping experience with a great variety for our guests, we are limiting the number of vendors and avoiding too much overlap between categories.

The following vendor categories have already been filled:

• Baked Goods
• 3-D Printing
• Candle Making
• Freeze-Dried Foods
• Body & Home Care
• Loom Knitting

That means we’d especially love to hear from makers offering something different!

Think handcrafted gifts, pottery, woodworking, jewelry, art, leather goods, sewn goods, ornaments, home décor, specialty foods, and other unique handmade creations.

Summer is slowly slipping away, and harvest season is beginning. 🌻🍅🌽

Somehow, it feels like there are fewer hours in the day now than ever before. The days are full—harvesting, preserving, preparing for what’s ahead, keeping up with the farm, the house, the kids and all the little things in between. There’s more work and a little less downtime, but there’s something about this season that I love.

I always miss those long summer days when they come to an end, but I look forward to harvest too. It’s a reminder of just how good God is. ❤️

Our garden hasn’t produced the way it has in years past. Some things flourished, some struggled, and some simply didn’t work out. But when I look around, I realize there is still enough. Enough to preserve. Enough to put away. Enough to help carry our family through the seasons ahead. And for that, I am so grateful.

School has started again, and we’re settling back into the rhythm of school mornings, bus schedules and more structured days. There’s something really sweet about watching the kids head off in the morning—and then seeing their excitement when they come home, ready to tell us all about their day.

Summer is ending. Harvest is beginning. Life is busy and a little messy, and the days never seem quite long enough.

But our pantry is filling, our children are growing, and our home is full.

God is so good. 🌾🤎
