THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM ✨☘️🦋 We are thanking our lucky stars that we have officially landed as the Hobson Building’s newest tenants 🫶 we’re moving on up to 1184 Commercial St Astoria OR ⚜️💫

We have a ton of work ahead of us to get the space ready but we are honestly so grateful to be able to offer all your favorite elevated organic PNW sourdough goods AND bring some of our wildest dreamy dreams to fruition! 🥰 Stay tuned for updates on when we will be opening our doors!

WE ARE NO STRANGERS TO THE LEMONS OF LIFE
And despite these being some of the sourest, we are still determined to MAKE LEMONADE!

Last Friday, our new landlord told us that our rent would more than double starting next month. We are grateful for the amazing season we just finished. But the reality is even at the peak of the season, with this years’ economic downturns, fuel surcharges and increased ingredient costs - no business could endure this - their largest expense more than doubling, with no notice or time to prepare. And despite rent increase protections existing for housing, they don’t apply to business leases unless written into the lease itself. Hard learned lesson.

Please bear with us as we navigate securing a new location and figuring out the complex finances & timing of moving a commercial bakery. And also a reminder that this business is the life and labor of love of two and a half women, real human beings who simply want to create the world we all want to see (and eat)
