Now that is one heck of a way to finish a season!! Avery, you and Rollin Coal have had one incredible run together this year. From the first time you stepped into the ring with him to your final show at Washington State Fair, you two have continued to find success and you certainly saved a big one for the finale!

We couldn’t be more happy to have the opportunity to get this guy to you and your family. It has been an absolute honor working with your family and the future growth of your program!

This guy has been an absolute gentleman for you all season and a head turner everywhere he went. Beyond the banners, one of the coolest things has been watching the attention he brought your direction and the new friendships and relationships built along the way. That’s a pretty special part of showing livestock that sometimes means just as much as the wins.

We’ve been excited about Rollin Coal since day one. Radioactive on our coolest Young Blood daughter, Lady May, was a combination we believed could create something special, and this guy has certainly given us plenty to be excited about. Now, as his show career comes to an end, the part we’ve really been waiting for begins, seeing what he can do for PondeResser Farm as a sire.

Normally this is where we talk about how excited we are for Avery’s future as a showman and stockman and believe us, we absolutely are!
But this time, we’re excited about both sides of the halter. Avery, we can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, compete, and accomplish some pretty awesome things. And Rollin Coal… now it’s time to see what the next generation can do. Two futures were awfully excited about. One heck of a season to remember. Congratulations, Avery, on an incredible year and an awesome way to finish it!

Ma’am, what a way to finish one heck of a season!! We say it time and time again, but we absolutely LOVE getting lambs into your hands and working with your family. This season has been so much fun, not only watching the success in the ring, but working together behind the scenes to get these guys dialed in.

Between countless pictures, videos, feed adjustments, and conversations about showmanship, we were constantly fine-tuning the little things. Every lamb is different, and figuring out exactly how each one needs to be fed, managed, and shown to make them look their best is a huge part of the challenge. Kylie, you took those adjustments and made them work!

And apparently, your management program now includes giraffes. We can’t finish this season without officially welcoming Stretch, the newest member of the barn! When R***r left and Ranger suddenly found himself without his buddy, Stretch stepped up and filled the position of official companion giraffe. Between flamingo exercise programs and emotional support giraffes, we’re learning there really aren’t many rules in your barn as long as the lambs are happy and it works! And you know what? It’s working.

Kylie, we are so darn proud of everything you accomplished this year. More than the banners, we’ve loved the communication, the creativity, the laughs, and getting to work alongside your family throughout the entire season. Now we’re just crossing our fingers that we can somehow get even MORE lambs into your barn next year, Along with another showman!

Congratulations, ma’am! Thank you for an awesome season! We are excited for what comes next.

We have started our Fall lambing! This is our very first Radioactive x Alamo lamb and truly could not be more excited for the potential this combo has with the future of our program. Here’s to another fantastic lambing season.

Natalie, ma’am, YOU MADE IT HAPPEN! When we first started talking this season, we had goals. We knew what we wanted to accomplish, put a plan together, and you worked your tail off trying to make something special happen.

We’re certainly proud of the lamb, but we’re even more proud of you. You took what we put in your hands, did the work, and finished your senior season with something you can be incredibly proud of.

If there’s one bittersweet part, it’s that this was our first and last season getting to work together as a showman. We sure wish we would’ve found each other a few years earlier because it would’ve been fun to see just how much we could have accomplished together!

Natalie, thank you for trusting us to be a small part of your final year. Being able to contribute even a little piece to the memories you’ve made throughout your show career means more to us than any banner ever will.

Congratulations, ma’am. You finished this chapter on one heck of a high note! We wish you nothing but success and happiness in whatever comes next. Go make that next chapter every bit as special as this one!

🎉Congratulations Addison

Addison, YOU DID IT AGAIN!! This one sure is exciting! We set some pretty big goals early this season, and you fought tooth and nail to make them happen. These big wins in a season doesn’t happen by accident!

It takes a team to get these lambs completely dialed in, but at the end of the day, you’re the one putting in the work. You paid attention to the little details, constantly fine tuned your showmanship, kept the feed and exercise on point, sent updates, asked questions, and never stopped looking for ways to make him better. That effort sure paid off.

Addison, working with you this season has been an absolute blast. Somewhere along the way, this became about a whole lot more than just getting a lamb into your hands. We truly feel blessed to have you and your family as part of the CFSL team.

We’re already counting down the days until we can put another set in your hands and start chasing those goals all over again. Congratulations, ma’am! What a season and what an exciting future ahead!

Isiah, sir, what an AMAZING season you had with this young lady! It seemed like everywhere you two went, you found your way to the backdrop! We absolutely love getting high quality lambs into your hands, but you and this girl exceeded even our expectations. Watching what you accomplished together this season has been pretty darn special.

And this ewe means a lot to us beyond the banners. She represents four generations of a ewe family we have built right here at CFSL, with all four generations still in production for us today. She and her sister Auna are females we believe can play an important role in the future of our program. Getting to watch one of those pieces have this kind of success in your hands makes it even sweeter.

But Isiah, you earned this season. Your passion for showing, the work you put into your projects, and your desire to keep getting better are exactly what we love to see in a young showman. The really exciting part is knowing you still have several years left in your show career! We can’t wait to see how far you can take this, and we’re already looking forward to trying to put something even more special in your hands for 2027.

Keep working, keep learning, and keep pushing yourself, sir. If this season is any indication, there are a whole lot more backdrops in your future.

🏆Grand Champion Wether Sire
🏆Grand Champion Junior Showman
💨Rollin Cole
☢️Radioactive x Young Blood (Lady May)

This guy sure has us excited but the young lady on the drive might have us even MORE excited!
Rollin Coal is a Radioactive son out of one of our absolute favorite Young Blood ewes, Lady May. This is a mating we had high hopes for, and seeing how this natural colored buck has developed has us incredibly excited about his future. He has the pieces we believe can help build a program and, hopefully, create future generations capable of finding plenty of backdrops of their own.

But enough about the buck because Avery is the real star of this story! Ma’am, you did an absolutely phenomenal job getting Rollin Coal stuck, presented, and looking his very best. But apparently confirmation wasn’t enough to prove just how talented you are because you also received Champion Junior Showman!

You showed with so much confidence and ability that we think you could’ve given some of those older divisions a run for their money! We will happily get lambs into your hands anytime.

Avery, keep putting in the work and keep pushing yourself, because you have an incredibly bright future ahead of you with plenty of talent. We couldn’t be more proud of what you accomplished.

🎉Congratulation Karleigh
🎡Oregon State Fair - Open Class
🏆Reserve Champion Crossbred ewe
🇺🇸Sired by The Alamo

Congratulations on getting this girl into position to be named, Reserve Champion Crossbred Ewe in the Open Show.

After everything you accomplished at county fair, it was pretty exciting getting to watch you take that next step and compete at State Fair for the very first time and once again, you showed exactly what you’re capable of.

Karleigh, we’ve said it before and we’ll keep saying it, we love getting lambs into your hands. You have that natural ability to get one stuck, presented, and looking the part when it matters. Pair that talent with the work you continue to put in, and it sure makes you fun to have representing our program.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep pushing yourself. And most importantly, keep raising the bar. You’re becoming one heck of a showman, and we couldn’t be more proud to have you on our team.

The 2026 season might officially be in the books, but that just means it’s time to regroup, set some bigger goals, and figure out how we make the next one even better.

McNasty
Peace Pipe x Silver Fox
Owned with Pishions

This one is pretty special for a whole lot of reasons. This buck is the result of a bred ewe purchase from Bensons that we partnered on with the Pishions, and from the beginning we had some pretty high hopes for what might come out.

Genetically, he’s bred very similar to Radioactive, one of the lead sires here at Clark Family Show Lambs and when this guy hit the ground, he certainly got our attention. That beautiful smoky color, structurally correct, plenty of presence, and dwarf free (FF), he’s exactly the kind we hoped this mating could produce. We’re extremely excited about his future.

But as cool as the lamb is, this post really belongs to Noah.

Sir, you had one heck of a long week of showing, and you continued to show up in a BIG way. You got this guy presented exactly how he needed to be and represented both Clark Family Show Lambs and Lil’ Buckaroo Farms with class, skill, and confidence. We couldn’t be more proud of you!

And honestly, this goes beyond sheep.

We absolutely love working with the whole Pishion family (Jerry, Sonya, Noah, Elijah and Asher). Somewhere along the way, this became a whole lot more than buying lambs, breeding sheep, and chasing banners together. You’re the kind of people we know we can call when we need something and we hope you know the same goes the other direction. You aren’t just people we work sheep with anymore. You’re family.

Noah, congratulations on an incredible week and an awesome job with this guy. We are so proud of you and incredibly thankful for your entire family. The lamb has us excited about the future but the people we get to share it with are what make this whole thing worthwhile.

Natalie, what an awesome fair and an even better way to finish out your senior year! We only wish we would’ve had more years to work together because it feels like we were just getting started and figuring out how to really get things dialed in! We’re incredibly thankful we had the opportunity to put a couple lambs into your hands this season, and you did an awesome job with this Alamo wether.

We love getting lambs into the hands of kids who take pride in their showmanship, and it was pretty special watching your hard work pay off on both ends of the halter.

Natalie, thank you for trusting our program and allowing us to be a small part of your final year. We’re proud of you, we’ve loved working with you, and we wish you nothing but success in the chapter that comes next!

Your season isn’t quite finished yet, so good luck at your next fair! Go have some fun and finish this senior season strong!
