This wether is exactly what we hoped for when we made this mating. An Alamo lamb out of a really cool Freestyle daughter, this lamb has continued to get better every time we see him.

But awesome livestock only gets you so far…

Addison has put in the work, the hours, and the dedication to bring this one to life. Finding success on the market side is impressive enough, but backing it up with a Grand Champion Showmanship title shows the kind of stockman and competitor she is becoming.

One of our favorite parts has been watching this team grow together. We love the updates, the pictures, and seeing the commitment Addison has made to getting this wether dialed in every step of the way.

When we started mapping out the future of our program, we knew we needed to think several steps ahead. We weren’t looking for another extreme piece to push the needle further in one direction or the other. We were searching for a sire that could help tie the future together.

That’s where Controlled Chaos comes in.

When Brenden told me about this buck, it didn’t take long to realize he checked the boxes we had been searching for. He brings the kind of skeletal correctness, flexibility, and balance that we believe will complement our Alamo daughters while offering the power, shape, and dimension to elevate our Radioactive females.

Every breeding decision should create possibilities for the next one. We believe Controlled Chaos does exactly that.

We knew from the moment we saw this lamb that she was something special and if I sold her she needed to go somewhere that would appreciate her for everything she is. These Alamo lambs sure are something special and when they work they work good! I originally wasn’t intending to offer this lamb but I told myself I can’t keep them all no matter how good they are and if I was going to offer her up I couldn’t think of a better showman to send her to then Scarlett. When we were showing Scarlett what we had to offer there in the Bass Pro parking lot this lamb quickly with no question sorted herself right to the top. As soon as Scarlett put her eyes on this lamb there was no question she knew she was going home with this lamb. Scarlett you really have been doing such a wonderful job working with this lamb and we are proud of you and excited for the future.

Karleigh sure put together a solid weekend at the Rockin CC Classic! This ewe has definitely had her fair share of ups and downs along the way, but we always felt she had the pieces to be something special. Her dam has been an absolute powerhouse for our program, and this Alamo daughter may be one of the very best yet.

What impressed us most was the way Karleigh kept working, stayed patient, and continued getting the absolute best out of this lamb every time she stepped in the ring. That kind of determination and consistency is what keeps moving teams forward.

Awesome job this weekend, Karleigh! Keep putting in the work and exciting things are ahead for you and this ewe.

Nice job Lucy!! This family has been so awesome to work with and I couldn’t be more excited for this team. Last year they came looking for a special one and I feel we found exactly that. This is the type of ewe you can easily work with both phenotypically and genetically. This team was really impressive together last year and now as a yearling it seems like things just got better with time! Very awesome job at the Youth Fair Lucy and can’t wait to see what’s next for this awesome team. Keep it up and look forward to more updates!
