Marin's Vineyard Marin's Vineyard has a New Wine Tasting Room in Atascadero CA. 5983 Entrada Ave. The vineyard is just 5.5 acres consisting of Viognier and Syrah.

Located in Lockwood in Southern Monterey County, Marin's Vineyard is a small family owned and operated business since 1999. Marin, the daughter of Duane and Brenda Wolgamott, is the winemaker. We seek to produce quality hand crafted wines that reflect the local area.

Did you know we have a secret menu? Well it’s not really a secret, you just have to know the code word. And some people say it without know what they’re walking into… but if you say “I love Viognier” then you’re in for a treat. I make 5 different Viognier styles and we can do a Viognier only tasting if you’d like. And how are they all different you ask? Well that’s a whole conversation with me that can last your entire tasting. Here’s all the styles: Sparkling, Piquette, Reserve, Sweetheart, and Late Harvest. If there’s something you haven’t tried yet, let us know! We’d love to pour you some Viognier 💛

HARVEST HAS STARTED! And well, so starts the series of what needs to get fixed this week. On a normal basis, when something breaks, I can take the time to fix it - we’re not in a rush. But when I have fruit in the press and my air compressor on the press stops working, or a valve on a tank is leaking, or when the pump stops turning, I need to make some quick calls. Shout out to my local mechanics, welders, and people on YouTube that show me how to fix things 🤓 they’re the real heroes! I just make wine 😆

This was fun 😆 people romanticize winemaking and the role of winemakers. But I always try to show behind the scenes because in reality it’s not as glamorous as it looks. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love what I do, but it’s actually very little “winemaking”. I’m a mechanic, laborer, cleaner, office assistant, fixer, coordinator, driver, and yes a winemaker.
