Now that all the classic car awesomeness has departed our little slice of Heaven, it's time to announce this week's $8 Affordability Wednesday Lunch, which will be...

Ground beef or vegetarian baked ziti, with salad and garlic bread. It's a pretty big portion, so come with a healthy appetite and grab one (or more) and fill your bellies or take it home to eat later. As you know, $8 is our suggested price, but just pay "the bowl" what you can afford and enjoy the company of your fellow A-Town'ers and share in the community spirit.

We recommend reserving ahead, but there should be enough if you just show up. Call Alicia at 805-792-4310 and she'll put you on the list.

Last call for this week's Affordability Wednesday Lunch. We're doing a meatloaf battle between myself and Chef Andrei Kibrik , so you'll get to try two different takes on the American classic, served with mashed potatoes and salad. As always, it will be $8 and you pay the bowl and all meals are packaged to-go.

First, thanks to everyone who came out for Affordability Wednesday this week - we served over sixty $8 lunch plates! Our guest chef, Kim Lafond, whipped up some amazing lasagna (meat AND vegetarian), to go along with Cesar salad, garlic bread, and peach crumble.

Next Wednesday's Affordability Wednesday (July 15th) meal will be twice-baked potatoes with your choice of bacon, pulled pork, or chili, along with macaroni salad and dessert. These taters are HUGE, so bring a hearty appetite and sit with your fellow community members and share in the food and fun. will be doing the cooking, which brings us to our next topic...

If you're a home cook, or even a professional chef, we'd love to have you come and cook for our Affordability Wednesday! We pay for all the ingredients and provide you full use of our commercial kitchen, and we'll even help you serve it up. We usually get between 60-75 orders and it's tons of fun! Happy 4th of July everyone! Thank you so much for your business and we had tons of pie orders to fill, but with the markets canceled on Saturday we finally get a chance to enjoy the festivities with you. Stay safe, same, and happy on this beautiful weekend!

Last call for $8 lunch plates before service at noon, today! Pulled pork sandos, buttery and cheesy twice baked potato, and grilled Mexican sweet corn (elote). Sodas and waters are $1. Most of the meals have been pre-ordered, but we will have a few for walk-ins, so stop by! Just look for the big question mark on El Camino Real and you'll be on the right track. :-)

As an added bonus, I will be running for Atascadero City Council in November, so I'd love to hear what you have to say as I undertake my mission to represent your interests in our awesome little city. Come let your voice be heard!

Well, it seems the rumor Mill is churning yet again regarding the Wednesday $8 Affordability Lunch. I have heard from my sources, that this Wednesday, July 1st, pulled pork sandwiches, baked potato, and corn will be on the menu, possibly with something out of the pie company's arsenal. A variety of spices will be available to sprinkle on your potato and corn, as well as two different sauces for the sandos.

We HIGHLY recommend reserving your meal(s) in advance as we only make a limited number of plates and sell out quite quickly. Text to 8057924310 or email [email protected].
