We had a close call today. While FD fought the fire on both sides of FM 1616, we disked fire breaks to protect >150 animals, barns, houses, and adjacent private property.
A BIG shoutout & Thank You to Murchison Fire Department , Brownsboro Fire & Reacue , Southside Fire , Athens Fire Dept. , Henderson County Fire Marshall , Ash Baptist Church, Athens TX . We wouldn't be here without these courageous volunteers.
