Why I do this business?

Full time employment? No.

Money? That’s so funny 😆 I give away more than I make and often do not charge enough to even make what I need to cover fuel.

Wellbeing of animals? YES

Teach my kids how to be contributing members of society? YES

Teach the kids a skill/trade? YES

Teach the kids book keeping? YES

To give better life to each animal? YES

To educate owners of animals proper care? YES

We give COUNTLESS free/ discounted trims, make room for nearly EVERY emergency trim within 7 days sometimes even 24hrs.

We have been reopened from our home burning to the ground exactly 9 months ago fully open to the general public again, in that time we have taken ZERO days off except the last 7 days to have TWO children have literal surgery and some folks have it under the impression that I am their employee not a business owner OFFERING a service to help the most desperate of animals who literally no one else wants to deal with.

We were going to return to office today however the messages and way I have been spoken to for taking time for my family has completely bewildered me.

I will be extending my closed to office hours through my birthday, Wednesday(9/30).

Hopefully in this time I can conjure the grace in my words to schedule these appointments purely for poor animals sake.

If you have an appointment in this time I will be still taking care of you and will touch base with those individuals directly, but I will not be doing any scheduling or booking until then.

With much love and grace,
The 4K Farm Team

Talk to yall Thursday 🫶🏻🥴
