A massive shout out to each of the kids who purchased their club lambs from us at Brown Acres for the Troy Fair!

Today was the market lamb show and each of the (4) lambs performed well.

Another season of being able to sponsor a team with Valley Youth Soccer Association!

Team Brown Acres of U8 has impressed across the season with a few games left to be played!

Always time for a quick photo shoot during night time chores, especially when our breeding ram looks this good.

This is our Suffolk breeding ram out of the MacCauley line. He’s currently in with the ewes preparing for January lambs!

We finally put a cap on the shearing season by knocking the wool off the final few ewe lambs.

I love doing this to see how the future breeding stock are developing.

We have a few meat lambs nearing ready for processing. Know where you food comes from and get yourself some high quality lamb meat for a fraction of the grocery story cost!

Raised on 16% protein and will have a nice fat layer. Constant access to hay and/or pasture.

We wanted to extend a huge congratulations to Brynn Cashell who showed her Dorset Advantage X Suffolk wether Lazlo yesterday at the Troy Fair.

In her first year showing she won her Showmanship class and put up a fight in the middle weight division.

Lazlo was born here at Brown Acres.

We introduced a new breeding ram to the farm today. He’s out of the MacCauley lineage and currently finds himself in quarantine until he goes in with the ewes at the turn of the month!

Keep us in mind next year for 4H/FFA project show lambs with this unit leading the charge!
