MORE fresh ginger, bokchoy, arugula, squash and more coming to the farmstand this Saturday! Including our DECORATIVE GOURDS all grown by us for you 😚🎃 We’ve been enjoying scallions on the grill and braised collard greens on repeat along with our tomatoes that are still coming out of our tunnels (but not for much longer) 🍅. Come enjoy some Fall bounty at our Athens Farmstand. Open Saturdays 10am-1pm at 39 2nd St. What we have this week:

Ask me about my KOGINUTS! 🎃 We’ll have some delicious koginut winter squash at the farmstand tomorrow. A cross between a butternut and kabocha squash, the koginut has a great sweet (but not TOO sweet) nutty flavor perfect for roasting in the oven. We pop them in with a little olive oil at 400 degrees 👌👩🏻‍🍳

PLUS, we’ve got FRESH ginger that Josh and Laura just pulled out of the ground 🫚 Come grab a bunch while we’ve got them. See you at the farmstand open Saturdays 10am-1pm at 39 2nd st in Athens 🍂🍁

This week, we have the return of ARUGULA and Asian Greens Mix along with a second flush of large tomatoes 🍅 We’re expected to get some rain near the tail end of the farmstand so we recommend showing up in the early side! WE LIKE BIG BEANS AND WE CANNOT LIE 🫛 Beans have finally arrived and they are good. Fry em up in the pan with a little olive oil and salt or dump a spoon of garlic and black bean sauce on them (my fave preparation). Get em and the first of our fall crops at the Athens farmstand open every Saturday 10am-1pm @ 39 2nd st in Athens!

Athens Farmstand open every Saturday 10am-1pm ✨🌼 We grow everything we sell… which puts us in a bind when there’s a sudden increase in demand for lettuce 🤣 In all previous years, we ALWAYS had lettuce leftover. Josh had really dialed in on how much lettuce we can sell, then DOUBLED it for this year’s crop plan, only to have our plans thwarted by cyclosporea 😅 Thid year… lettuce is the first thing we sell out of every week. We wish we could wave a magic want and have enough lettuce for everyone!

Hi folks, it seems that we have reached peak tomato. Although our farmstand will be about half tomatoes this weekend, we’ll also have your other summer essentials, some beautiful crispy lettuce, and an extra gorgeous array of flowers—all grown by us on our farm in Athens.

We’ll be in our usual spot at 39 2nd St in Athens, NY from 10AM-1PM on Saturday.

After you stop by our stand you should check out the market at Happy Clown Ice Cream and support some other local vendors and small businesses— also 10AM-1PM on Saturday.
