Yesterday Spoonful of Flavor participated as a Food Vendor at the Marigold Festival. This was our first Festival of the season that we actually participated in since my husband's untimely transition. We as a FAMILY pulled together and got it done. Whewwww I'm still tired. Baybeeee the citizens of Winterville and the surrounding cities/counties showed up and showed out!!!! This was afull day starting with a 10K run at 7am, followed by a parade, then shopping with the vendors but at the end of the parade...it was all she wrote....We had a NONSTOP BUSY DAY which resulting in us SELLING OUT!! The line stayed long and everyone waited so patiently and I really appreciate that as ALL FOOD is cooked fresh on site, which at times we had to wait on items to finish cooking. I saw some familiar faces as well as a lot of new faces & I THANK all that patronized my small business and those that wanted to purchase but we had already sold out. I can't say enough about my crew, they were up and ready for the challenge!!!! My son's Eric and Derrick, my brotha Greg, my older 2 grandchildren LeLe and Aiden did the damn thang out there!!! No matter the bickering amongst ourselves we still got through it all. Again I want to THANK everyone who came out and showed us love, those that PRAYED for us to have a successful event, those that shared my post, those that told people we were out vending at the Festival and those that wanted to support but couldn't....yall all are greatly appreciated. See yall at en event soon!!!
