One of the questions we get asked more than just about any other is:

👉 "What do you feed your birds?"

The truth is, there isn't a single perfect feed that works for every collection, every species, or every breeder. What works for us may not be the right answer for someone else.

That said, after plenty of trial and error, this is the foundation blend we've settled on here at Dinky Creek:

🍎 1 Part ZuPreem FruitBlend

🌿 1 Part Mazuri Low-Iron Softbill Diet

🕊️ 1 Part Brown's Premium Pigeon Feed

🌾 1 Part Brown's Encore Cockatiel Food

In addition, every third day we offer supplemental foods such as bananas, blueberries, apple chunks, and boiled eggs.

Our goal is simple: provide a diverse diet that encourages natural foraging behavior while supporting overall health, condition, and breeding success across a wide variety of species.

Is it perfect? Probably not.

Is it working for us? Absolutely.
