🚨A challenge for everyone reading this: 🚨
If you're upset about what's happening with the Spix's Macaw project...
If you're concerned about H.R. 7371 and what it could mean for the future of animal transportation...
If you care about aviculture, conservation, agriculture, rare species, or your rights as a lawful breeder...
What are you actually doing about it?
Because a comment on some celebrity’s post takes 10 seconds. Sharing a meme takes 5. But making your voice heard where it matters? That's where most people disappear.
The truth is, we are watching some of the most important issues facing animal keepers, breeders, and conservationists unfold in real time. Today it's gamefowl. Today it's Spix's Macaws. Tomorrow it could be pheasants, parrots, waterfowl, softbills, livestock, or any other species that depends on dedicated people to preserve them.
Everyone wants the benefits of conservation. Everyone loves seeing species recovered, protected, and thriving. But conservation doesn't happen by accident. It happens because people are willing to stand up, get involved, and defend the programs, breeders, and organizations doing the work.
So here's the question:
Will you just watch from the sidelines and hope someone else fights these battles?
Or will you take five minutes, educate yourself, sign a petition, contact your representatives, support the organizations involved, and become part of the solution?
The future of aviculture won't be decided by the people who care the most.
It will be decided by the people who actually show up.
What side are you on?
H.R. 7371 represents a troubling expansion of federal authority into lawful animal commerce under the guise of transportation policy.
