Can you imagine New Year’s Day starting with a killer bacon biscuit or ending with a delicious pulled pork taco? Locally made bacon makes a great present for those hard-to-buy-for meat eaters, too.

Hey everybody! We finally have another batch of bacon, and the price has dropped back down to $15/lb just in time for BLTs and 4th of July parties.

Remember those insanely beautiful red Thai chili peppers at Fooks? The hot sauce they made is so good it’s something else. There are only about 10 bottles of it so if you want some, speak up ASAP. $15/bottle

There’s also a fantastic new hot sauce with Thai chilis, red jalapeños, and orange habaneros that might be one of my best blended sauces ever. $15/bottle

Happy holidays all! Jenn here. Matt finally found a distributor we like; Beeler’s Pork. They raise their pork right. No gestation crates. No antibiotics ever. Vegetarian fed. No nitrites. I love this pork and it made some amazing-tasting bacon.

Just in time for the holidays! Black Dog bacon comes frozen and makes an incredible gift for any bacon fan.

We have a deal now; buy 5 lbs or more and get your choice of $6 off or a bottle of Matt’s amazing hot sauce!

Price is $18/lb, and as always comes in packages unsliced. I have many sizes from 1.5 lb to 3.5 lb packages.

While it lasts, you can buy Matt’s Hot Sauce too, which is $6 a bottle. It’s made with a mix of red and green Thai chili peppers plus a little habanero for heat, and aged for 4 months. If you like Louisiana Hot Sauce, this is similar in texture. He usually makes the hot sauce for The National so if you like theirs, you will probably like his.

Bacon is back!

Hey guys, I’m finally back with another small batch of bacon. Due the loss of our regular pork provider, I had to find a new one, and finally found something that meets my standards. Unfortunately the cost is higher with the new provider, which means I have had to slightly raise my prices as well.

Bacon is $16/lb, and as always comes in packages unsliced. I have many sizes from .75 lb to 1.5 lb packages.
