As we all know. I have tried to kill the Cheez-Its. Repeatedly.

Y’all simply will not let them rest in peace.

Every week I have people asking for them who I’ve never even SEEN before.

So…. I bought a very expensive dough sheeter in hopes that it makes making these stupid little orange burdens less of a hassle.

I am not promising anything yet because there is still a very real chance I just spent a bunch of money to discover a faster, more efficient way to still hate making Cheez-Its.

But if this thing works, congrats on bullying me into keeping them. 🙃🙃🙃

Idk who needs to hear this, but YES, you can put cinnamon directly in your sourdough.

The whole “cinnamon will kill your yeast” thing has somehow permeated the internet like one of those 2004 chain emails telling you to forward it to 5 people by midnight or you’ll die in 3 days.

Cinnamon can slow fermentation a little. That’s it. Worst case, your dough takes a LIL BIT longer to rise.

Just don’t dump the whole damn jar in there and it’s gonna be fine.

And no, you don’t have to forward this post to 5 other sourdough bakers or your starter will die at midnight.

Now go forth and DO CINNAMON S**T. 🫡🍞
