We’d like to inform everyone that after taking some time off, we will be opening back up for weekend drop-in pet and farm sitting starting Saturday, October 24th! 🐶 🐈 🐐 🐮

Our primary availability will run Friday-Sundays.

Priority for drop-in visits for Mondays-Thursdays will be for local visits only, but feel free to message us and we’ll see what we can do.

We will have no availability Saturday, December 26th through January 7th.

We serve within a 60 mile radius of Athens, Wi near Milan, and rates vary based on location.

Due to Java still being in recovery, we are unable to watch any pets in our home at this time.

No Birchy nails were harmed in the making of this video. 🐱 He pushed the can out from under the cupboard. Prior to this, he was sticking his paw in the can and eating it from his hand. I guess you could say, it’s Paw Lickin’ Good 😂

My husband is a genius for making this 3 way feeder out of calf panels so that all 3 of our goat pens can eat together!

We’ve received numerous questions on some of our videos, and we’d like to clear up any confusion.

1. Why are they separated?

Our 2 9-year old wethers (fixed males) are a bonded pair. They also don’t have horns.

When we added our newest additions, we didn’t want to jeopardize the home the wethers know and love and place any stress on them. Additionally, we knew that either they were going to head butt each other, or put them in danger due to the other goats having horns.

So then why are the two new additions separated?

I think you can figure that out… one’s a male, and one’s a female. We don’t want the chance of babies being born until April at the earliest. In another month or so, we’ll be able to put the two together for the breeding season.

2. Why do they have horns?

While I wasn’t originally wanting to bring in goats with horns due to our other two goats, I’ve learned that horns can be very beneficial. I’ve watched how helpful it is for the female scratch an itch, and they also help them regulate their body temperature. Trimming the horns at this age would do more harm than good.

3. “She’s cute now, but then you’re going to eat her. Sad”.

Lol. I really don’t know where this assumption came from. All of our goats are pets and live their lives out here! 🥰
