The dogs boycotted chores today, and instead stayed in the cool shade of the barn or car. They seem to be communicating that if I'm going to be dumb enough to do chores in 90 degree weather then I can do them alone. Haha thanks boys, feeling the love...feeling the love...

It's been the annual barn cleaning weekend. We deep bed all our animals through the winter so that they have a nice soft, warm, and dry place to get out of the cold. This also means I only clean the barn once a year and put the now compost on our garden or fields. We rent a skid steer and away we go! Now it's time to get the barn ready for winter again.
